Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and Ambulatory Care opens in Irvine

On July 16th, 2024, the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and Ambulatory Care opened in Irvine, CA, introducing the first Photon Counting Computed Tomography (CT) to the Southern California region. This state-of-the-art CT unit is the fastest scanner in the world and will deliver significantly lower radiation doses than ever before.
