Please join us as we welcome Nancy Carrasco, MD, Chair of the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She is a world-renowned expert in the physiology of thyroid hormone biosynthesis, how it is affected by genetic mutations and environmental pollutants, and the major role of this system in current and future cancer therapeutics. Dr. Carrasco was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 2015, the National Academy of Medicine in 2020, and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2022.
