Nick Jones

Hi everyone! My name is Nick – I grew up in the bay area and went to UCSB for undergrad. I was a physics major and became interested in medicine a few years out of college. I was a non-trad applicant and, in my gap years, found I really like teaching, so I’m looking forward to being an MSAT. For fun, I like to travel, go backpacking/camping, play video games or basketball or hit the beach. My main specialty interests are IM and several of its subspecialties, including cardiology and oncology. I really enjoyed the first year of med school. I found the classes super interesting and love the collaborative/chill vibes at UCI. I typically study at home, where I have full access to my snacks. I like to dive deep into topics and ensure I understand the concepts by reading or watching videos and doing practice problems. Looking forward to MS2!
