Bio

Hi everyone! My name is Kelly Ngo (she/her/hers). I am currently an MS4 and plan on applying into family medicine. I am also part of HEAL-IM. I am a California native — I grew up in the Bay Area (Cupertino/San Jose, CA) and got my bachelor’s at Claremont McKenna College. Before starting medical school, I taught 7th-grade science in New Haven, CT through Teach for America for two years. Afterwards, I worked as an Emergency Department medical scribe in San Jose. I was a swimmer through college, and competed in triathlons for the first time as an MS2. I enjoy trying new ways to stay active while taking advantage of SoCal weather — throughout medical school, this has included yoga classes, triathlon practices, weight lifting and hiking/backpacking/camping. I find it's a great way to discover new hobbies and find some balance with school. Currently I’m in a Yoga Teacher Training program to become a certified Yoga Instructor! I am excited to be a resource for you all - please reach out if you have any questions about my interests above.
