Hi Everyone! I’m Ellie :-) I grew up in North County San Diego and went to college at Duke where I studied neuro. Before med school, I spent two gap years doing an Americorps fellowship in North Carolina working in primary care which I really loved!! My current interests are in OB/GYN and FM, but I’m keeping an open mind. As for studying, med school is a beast, but you will adjust quickly I promise!! I highly recommend using Anki relatively consistently for anatomy (+ creating many crazy mnemonics), doing lots of histology/phys practice questions (ask for PDFs of textbooks), and relying on ZotUnity slides if you fall behind because P=MD haha! I love F45 (come join me at the ARC), sweet treats and going to the beach in my free time. Also, I’m an average (maybe below average) skier, but I have an IKON pass, so reach out if you want to go on a day trip to Big Bear or a weekend trip to Mammoth!
