Cassandra Smith

Hey! I'm Cassandra, and I am an MS4. I'm originally from the Kansas City area. I went to Kansas State University for my first undergraduate degree. Then, I graduated from Washburn University with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. I worked for six years as an Emergency Department nurse before starting medical school. I am interested in pursuing Emergency Medicine and, potentially, a critical care fellowship. During my MS2 year, I used the standard resources (Sketchy, Pathoma and UWorld), but I also used Osmosis and USMLE-RX for review of MS1 content and to help me get through First Aid. I also love to enjoy my Sundays doing anything unrelated to school. In my free time, I love to read and write, play sand volleyball, watch football, do escape rooms, hang out with my dog and watch a lot of TV.
