Hi everyone! I am a second-year medical student, and I graduated from UCSD in 2021 with a degree in physiology and neuroscience. During my two gap years, I got my master's in biological sciences from UCSD and worked as a medical assistant at a neurology clinic. Despite my background in neurology, I am actually interested in OB/GYN or oncology as potential specialties. I was born and raised in San Diego and I love going to the beach, hiking and am currently learning how to surf. I love exploring different coffee shops to make studying more bearable, but when I need a break, I love going to the movies, working out (ie F45 and Boxhaus) and playing with my cat. In terms of how I studied last year — I didn't have one specific method I consistently used, instead I changed my methods based on the block. I didn't use any third-party resources and wasn't a huge fan of Anki, so if you have any questions about my approach, please let me know! I'm excited to meet everyone!
