Welcome to the University of California, Irvine Internal Medicine Residency Program — Irvine Medical Center.

It is with great pride and excitement that we introduce our newest residency training program, opening in 2026 at UCI Health’s state-of-the-art Irvine Medical Campus. Our program is built on the foundation of UC Irvine’s longstanding tradition of academic excellence, innovation and dedication to serving our diverse communities. 

At Irvine, our mission is to train outstanding physicians who combine clinical expertise with compassion, curiosity and a commitment to patient-centered care. We believe residency is not just about learning medicine—it is about shaping leaders who will improve the health of patients, communities and health systems for generations to come.
