You will be assisted by the RSS, CCR or CFCCC. Read “Other UC Irvine Groups to Know” above to determine the correct unit. Can I submit an application myself? No. You need to coordinate with your assigned analyst, whether it be in your department, RSS, CCR, or CFCCC. Only Sponsored Projects Administration (SPA) and Beall Applied Innovation have the institutional authority to submit proposals to sponsors. Can I search for funding opportunities myself? Yes! You can learn more on our Grant Support and Review Services page. How can I find other UC Irvine researchers in my area? Two complementary databases are UC Irvine Faculty Profiles and UC Irvine Research Profiles. Also, fill out the UCI SOM Research Collaboration Request Form so we can help you find collaborators. How is a Biosketch different that my CV? The Biosketch is a standardized format, most commonly used by NIH and other agencies. Refer to the NIH website for the template and examples.
