During the first three years of the ACGME-accredited Interventional Radiology Residency program, residents take one Interventional Radiology (IR) month yearly, focusing on learning diagnostic radiology and preparing for the core examination.

The last two years of the residency focus on interventional radiology, including the clinical care of IR patients and the performance of image-guided procedures.

Residents participate in the entire gamut of modern interventional radiology care, emphasizing pre- and post-procedure management and clinical patient evaluations. Participation in ongoing research projects, publications, and submission to regional and national meetings is highly encouraged and supported.
