Gain practical experience in a functioning BSL-3 laboratory environment without risking exposure to hazardous materials. Comprehensive Lab Services In addition to our basic training in laboratory practices and procedures, we provide additional services such as reviewing and testing facility designs, training on ANSI Z9.14 standards, training in biosafety and biosecurity management and more. Our Services Over 3,000 People Trained UCI has developed several new training programs to cover all personnel groups responsible for working inside or outside of BSL-3 laboratories. The UCI concept of training is based on hybrid models of other training programs with a core concept of applying risk assessment and risk management for all laboratory-associated personnel — from laboratory staff to O&M and emergency first responders.
