This unpaid volunteer opportunity provides comprehensive, hands-on exposure to clinical research methodology in perioperative research. Volunteer researchers contribute to ongoing anesthesiology research projects while building valuable skills, professional connections and strengthening their academic portfolio and credentials. Volunteer researchers can: Collaborate with faculty on active research studies Participate in data collection, analysis and manuscript preparation Gain exposure to anesthesiology-focused research and academic medicine Receive mentorship from experienced clinician-scientists This opportunity is designed for individuals dedicating a transition year to clinical research in perioperative medicine. Motivated individuals with strong organizational skills and a strong interest in research are encouraged to apply. Minimum Requirements Be a recent graduate of a bachelor, master or doctorate program Be 18 years of age or older Be available for shifts between 4 to 6 hours, at least two days a week (No shifts available during university holidays Application Process Applications are accepted and reviewed year-round. Highly motivated candidates may be invited to interview. As the onboarding process can take up to two months, interested candidates are encouraged to plan their application timing accordingly.
