UC Irvine School of Medicine associate professor awarded Inoue Prize for Science
Kei Igarashi, PhD, Chancellor’s Fellow and associate professor in the Department of Anatomy & Neurobiology, has been named one of five recipients of the 2024 Inoue Prize for Science. This award recognizes Igarashi’s outstanding achievement in memory and dementia research.

California Office of Traffic Safety Awards $1.2 Million Grant to the UC Irvine School of Medicine for the UC Traffic Safety Collaborative Program
The program will promote safe practices for young drivers and emphasize the prevention of impaired driving among young populations, while capitalizing on collaboration across UC campuses.
