What You Will Learn Through this fellowship, participants gain practical skills to: Assessment & Diagnosis: Perform targeted integrated geriatric health and geriatric behavioral health assessments and accurately identify early symptoms of mild-to-moderate psychiatric and neurocognitive disorders (e.g., dementia). Geriatric & Behavioral Health Care: Apply the 5Ms framework of geriatric medicine to diagnose and manage complex behavioral health conditions, trauma and substance use disorders (SUDs). Evidence-Informed Therapies: Deliver targeted interventions using geriatric health, cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques, motivational interviewing and appropriate medications.
